His Melbourne-based company, The Puppet Creation Lab, has made waves in the Australian puppetry scene with its innovative and engaging work. Lanzer's skill in crafting and performing puppets has brought many characters to life, showcasing his expertise and creativity.
Michael created, hosted, co-wrote, and produced the 6-part parody talk show "Late Night Tonight" for Channel 31, which was filmed in front of a live studio audience.
Michael's extensive experience extends to ad campaigns for Mars Bar, Baker's Delight, Coinspot, and Reece Bathrooms. He has also made notable appearances on TV shows "The Weekly with Charlie Pickering", Channel 7's comedy panel show "Behave Yourself", and "Safe Home."
Over the years Michael has continually worked as a writer for television comedy (C31), performed stand-up, been a master of ceremonies, hosted and produced community radio programs and trained in comedy writing and improvisation. Lanzer has hosted and presented television on Channel 31 and radio on the Student Youth Network (SYN), and have won several awards from my work at SYN, including one for 'Best Comedy Team' for a radio show that he co-hosted.
